Privacy policy
How Your Helpers Home Services collects, uses and protects your personal information.
This page is a placeholder for the client's own privacy policy. The existing policy needs to be supplied and reviewed before this site goes live, because a registered NDIS provider handles sensitive health and disability information and the policy has to reflect that accurately.
What the final policy needs to cover
- What personal information is collected, including information about a participant's disability, NDIS plan and home
- How that information is collected, including through this website, referral forms and the home visit
- Why it is collected and how it is used
- Who it is disclosed to, including Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, the NDIA and contracted cleaners and gardeners
- How it is stored and protected
- How to access or correct your information
- How to make a privacy complaint, and the right to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner
- Obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and the NDIS Practice Standards
